Dr. Leska grew up near Wichita, KS and attended Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in 1994 and worked in mixed animal practices until 1996, when she started a practice in northwest Kansas. The mixed animal practice she owned for 10 years allowed her to develop an increasing interest in equine medicine and reproduction. This desire prompted her to relocate to Whitesboro, Texas in order to dedicate herself solely to the equine field of veterinary medicine. Dr. Leska enjoys all areas of the equine field and is excited to be a part of an experienced team at Performance Equine. When away from the clinic she is kept entertained by her corgi, Tucker and her collection of horses.
